The St. Hill Church of God in Christ was in existence as early as 1912 according to courthouse documents. A line of pastors and great leaders served the St. Hill Church of God in Christ congregation.
Dr. Kelly was appointed to the historic St. Hill Church of God in Christ by Bishop A. V. Jordan in 1997. The St. Hill COGIC is 109 years old. St. Hill has 10 ministries including radio, television, and prison outreach. Under Dr. Kelly’s leadership, the St. Hill facility has been totally renovated and has a new fellowship hall and office facilities, which has increased the value of the property three-fold.
