Youth Department
The Youth Department is where young people of all ages come and learn the Word of God on their level. Great stress is laid upon developing a relationship with Christ through prayer, reading Scripture and teaching about the love of Christ.

Community Resource Center
This is an outreach center consisting of a food pantry, clothes closet, job placement help and counseling in development.

This committee is comprised of women who love people. They show kindness to and welcome visitors, strangers, and special guests.

Men’s Department (The Might of St. Paul)
This is a ministry designed to promote fellowship, maturation, better health, community development, leadership, and outreach among men. All men are welcome to participate .
“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful…And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”--Psalms 1:13--

This is a community-wide outreach where transportation is provided for anyone who desires to attend any of the services held at St. Paul. New riders may call 601-346-8022.

Educational Emphasis
For over 20 years, deserving college students receive annual scholarship support from Education Emphasis weekend which includes a banquet and Sunday worship service to support St. Paul’s college students.

St. Paul Radio Choir
The St. Paul Radio Choir is always looking for new members. The choir is open to males and females ages 12 and up. Rehearsal is held every Thursday and Saturday in the sanctuary.

Homeless Ministry
Homeless are fed weekly in the downtown Jackson area.

Prayer Ministry
Some years ago the Lord led Dr. Kelly to open the doors of St. Paul daily for prayer. Today our prayer ministry is still full of God’s presence. St. Paul has prayer Monday thru Friday at 9 a.m., 12 noon, and 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary.

St. Paul shows the love of God through giving and sharing of the church’s means through the support of overseas missions and relief work and local missions.

Street Ministry
The Annual Tent Revival Crusade is held annually in the month of July. Men Ministry ministers from door to door.

Pastoral Counseling
Our pastor, Dr. Jesse J. Kelly, is an anointed preacher, teacher, and counselor. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication, A Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry, and a Doctorate of Ministry. He is well able, qualified and anointed by God to counsel members of St. Paul. He is available Tuesday evenings for counseling.

Prison Ministry
Our pastor, Dr. Jesse Kelly, is the Director of Chaplaincy at the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility. Also, several of St. Paul’s missionaries visit the prison to minister to the inmates.
“Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity as being yourselves also in the body.”--Hebrews 13:3

Women Bible Study & Youth Ministry are held every Tuesday evening at St. Paul beginning at 6:00 p.m. Classes are taught at every level. Pastoral Ministry is also held at 7:00 p.m. Bible Study is invaluable.

In an effort to spread the Word of God, a gospel message is presented on WLBT/Bounce TV Channel 3.2 @8:30 A.M. Sundays. This time is shared with St. Paul’s sister church, St. Hill Church of God in Christ which is located in Brandon, MS.
“For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad…”--1 Thessalonians 1:8
